We are a AU wizarding school site based very loosely on Harry Potter. We allow only original characters but the houses you may be sorted into are the same. Here we believe that with a little bit of magic and charm anyone can make it as a wizard so why not see what might await you?
He watched Poppy walk to the window and tilted his head a little but once more his thoughts were interrupted. "Yeah, let's start", he grinned and after a moment took one of the dice but stopped for a moment.
"I'm going to keep you posted about mission viking", he promised and rolled the dice. "1, so... one of you two'll have to start", he said as he passed the dice and folded his hands in his lap. He looked over to the window for a second. "Do you have this much snow every year?", he asked after a moment and frowned a little because it looked like there was someone outside but it was probably just his imagination running wild again.
Jessica gently turned the board so that Park Place and Board Walk were by her. She had a thing about the highest pieces being by her. That lifestyle where you were so rich you could wipe your butt with money and all the while she listened to Poppy. She snickered a little bit and then spoke.
she said as she let out a final sigh and then spoke.
Jess "Every once in a while, we have to eat human flesh, Kay."
He tilted his head a little, when Poppy started talking seemingly off-topic. "I don't think there'd be anything you two could tell me, that would make me not want to be your friend", he noted and turned his head to look at Jess when she sighed.
He was wrong with his statement. For a second he stared at them and thought about the weird things he had eaten in animal form. But then he really comprehended that they'd said human flesh. It took him one more moment to realise that he, in fact, was a human.
Kay jumped up from the table, knocking down his chair but he didn't think about that because he had the urge to run away as quickly as possible. The most logical escape would have probably been the front door but he did not think logical, so he just opened the first door he saw and quickly locked himself up in the room, that turned out to be something like a cupboard.
Jess "Poppy, what have I told you. It is always better to go ahead and rip the band-aid off. If you tear it off delicately as you seem to be implying I should have then know nothing is ever going to get done."
Dang she was looking forward to really owning park place too.
Jess "You can come out, we're not going to eat you."
The cupboard was maybe not the best hiding spot because 1) they had seen him hide and 2) there wasn't really anywhere he could go. When he heard Jess call his name, he looked around and put a broom underneath the door handle, so that it would be harder to open the door from the outside.
"That sounds like something you would say, if you wanted to eat me! How do I know that you're not trying to lure me into some kind of trap?", he yelled back and sat down on the floor. This cupboard would be his home now, or at least until he found a way to escape without having to walk past them.
Jess "First off, no one refers to me as Jessica except for Mom. Second off, I am doing him a favor and he was the one talking about vikings so I thought he might actually find it amazing, because like it or not Poppy we are what we are and that is exactly what it is. It is amazing."
She was calm because she refused to yell.
Jess "If we have to come and break that cabinet down, we will turn your dead body over to your sister and you would not want that now would you?"
He could hear Poppy yell from the other room and almost felt sorry for her. But Jess scared him. Even more when she yelled his name once more. "I'm pretty sure that raccoon dog bites can transfer rabies!" Why had he just said that? He obviously didn't have rabies. Or did he?
But wait, what else had Jess said? Right, that he was going to die and they would have to bring his cold, dead body to Midori. Kay felt like he was about to cry. "Mimi would probably be excited about getting to choose my grave stone!", he retorted because it was the first thing that came to his mind.
Slowly he got up and opened the door a little but just enough to be able to put his head outside. "You promise not to eat me, yeah?"
''We are not going to eat you. If we had intentions on eating you, then we would have done it when you first walked through the door. Come on you seem smarter than this. Put your fight or fight instincts and know that you can trust us.'
They were not breaking rules or anything just trying to make friends.
'Although if you want to leave we will completely understand.'
She laughed at the comment about his sister loving to pick out his headstone but the truth was that her laugh came out like a cackle. A witch's cackle at that which was completely involuntary but she could not help it.
Jess "When I die, I need to remember to put it in my will that your sister is the only one who gets to pick out my headstone. Ooh, do you think that she will carve a heart out of it or is that asking too much?"
She pushed her hair back.
Jess "If you don't come out, we will eat you. How's that for bargaining?"
