We are a AU wizarding school site based very loosely on Harry Potter. We allow only original characters but the houses you may be sorted into are the same. Here we believe that with a little bit of magic and charm anyone can make it as a wizard so why not see what might await you?
Well damn if Jayne was not feeling herself tonight but she was also nervous. It was okay because Leif had promised that he would understand, that no matter what it was. Besides her friendship came first and it always would.
At the moment she was waiting for Ambrosia to come and shortly after that if he received the owl like he should then Roman should be following along.
Jayne paced back and forth while she waited. It was time.
Ambrosia had wanted to delay this until the beginning of the break but at the moment with everything that was going on, she had to find an outlet. And finally getting back at Roman would serve as just that. When she arrived at the lake, she already saw Jayne pacing up and down from afar.
"Hey, Jayne, chill out", she said once she was close enough so that she didn't have to shout. "It's going to be fine. Not for him but he should have thought about the consequences before being a douche." She crossed her arms and looked at Jayne for a second before looking ahead to see if Roman was approaching them.
Roman had and always would feel as if his siblings let what was going on in their current life effect the big picture. He was different and he always would be. When he had received the note from Leif he had no problem meeting him out by the lake. However when he got there what he seen was a true disappointment.
He stopped a few feet away from them. Two of them now? Let's see. He did not know where Nikki was, he could care less where Romeo was and at least Jayne was out of his house. He leaned up against the nearest tree and spoke.
"I washed my hands of anything to do with either of you."
He said as he slid down with his back still against the tree.
"Holding grudges is tiring, don't the two of you have anything else to do?"
Jayne - I am fine. I just was thiking of how and I got excited, maybe a little crazy.
One thing she could not stand was how anxious this was making her and she hated it but as long as she chose to focus then she knew that she would be fine because she had no choice. She let out a breath and finally calmed herself down, at least until she heard his voice.
Jayne - Roman.
Just his sight made her stomach turn now.
Jayne - You do know only cowards and bitches hide behind trees right?
Speak of the devil. Ambrosia took a deep breath when Roman approached the lake and squinted her eyes, when he leaned against a tree. At least the moon was bright enough so she could see. "Look at him, he is a pathetic little coward", she stated matter-of-factly. Slowly she stepped forward and slowly swung the bat in one hand. "Do you really think that you get to decide about this? I don't like unfinished business, so it's your choice if you step closer and we settle this right now or if we have to chase you like the pathetic wimp you are. Hey, did you know that your precious little bitch of a sister basically moved into our house now? Probably because she can't take being in your presence anymore." Now she was just being mean but she was talking herself into a rage and she wanted to hurt him not even for anything he'd done, just for the sole reason that he existed.
Roman almost felt himself seething as the young lady spoke but he remembered that she was not worth it, at all. He did take notice of her swinging that baseball bat though. Insults? Here he was thinking they were above such a thing.
"Ambrosia, dear you stand there saying what you like but are you angry because our plan failed miserably or because you're trying so hard to pretend like we are not the same person when in fact we are? I did not think so at first but now..now I suppose it is more clear to me than it ever has been."
He liked this tree.
"I like this tree and I quite feel like I might piss on it. Just tell me what I need to do so that the both of you leave me alone as all of this is quite disturbing now. Kick her out, take some kind of control just stop bitching at me."
Now that it was being pointed out to her she did give it a thought. Had the two of them somehow pick up the traits of the other? That was an extremely horrible thing to even think about and if they had..NO JAYNE, she immediately said to herself. She was not going to allow Roman to cloud her head with such nonsense.
She was not too fond of the fact that he seemed to like hiding behind the tree. She cracked both her neck and her knuckles because at the end of the day business had to be handled no matter how messy it might turn out to be.
Jayne - There is no one here to protect you and even if there were, it is too late. You laid this bed with your words and your actions even more so and it stops here.
There were absolutely no words to describe how mafia like she felt.
Once again, Ambrosia wondered who Roman thought he was? How dare he compare them, when there was nothing, nothing she had in common with that peasant? "She's right", was the only thing she said though. For once, she wanted to let actions speak instead of spewing words. "There's nobody here to protect you. And what we want is for you to finally shut the fuck up."
As she was speaking, she walked around the tree so that she was between him and his way back to the school building. She raised the bat a little and looked at him. "Jayne, cinnamon, will you hold him down if he tries to run?" He seemed defenseless, she was the one with the weapon and he was with his back against the tree. Ambrosia couldn't help but smirk as she swung back and struck in the vague direction of his head. It didn't matter where she hit him, she just wanted it to hurt.
Roman always found it odd how the oldest of a set of siblings always seemed to be the most cracked. Any other time he would have thought this was the wrong word to use but here it seemed to fit more than anything else he could think of currently. For a split second he almost felt bad and then he did not. These issues of Ambrosia's that were flowing out and being seen now might have been opened by their fun tit for tats but the issues themselves were long seeded before he was even thought of interacting with her he was sure.
Then she was talking and circling him which did not sit well with him. All he remembered was trying to flinch but the bat made direct contact and his body went into a state of semi-shock as it fell out of the tree. He could not see it but one seemingly last sniff did escape his nostrils and he smelled blood. The "umph," from his body hitting the ground should have been enough to make anyone run but he was almost certain this was not the case here, which would have angered him if he was not a few seconds away from passing out.
Jayne had always had the ability to be a great spectator of things or so she told herself at least. As she heard the words and more importantly watched the actions happen she was extremely giddy which was way too rare for her. When Roman fell though, well she was a little surprised but all her mind quickly went to was advantage, advantage.
Jayne quickly moved and made her way behind him. She put her arms up around his neck and begin to squeeze. There was no way he was leaving here at least not on his own will if at all in all truth.
Thakfully she never reached a state of rabid though, even though Jayne felt like she might be close.
